Hello again to everyone who still visits occasionally. Exams start soon, don't they. 2 weeks for me. fuuuuu. I need to revise. So...um...that's why I'm not on here.
I'm good though.
Also, I expect you've all seen it but, if you haven't, then check out The Lizzie Bennet Diaries (an adaptation of Pride and Prejudice in Vlog form).
Um....that's all folks. How are you all? Anything interesting happening/happened to you?

Glad you're OK, yeah it's a bit annoying that the whole cast has left in the course of one series, so we don't really know the newbies that much yet.

I'm good thanks, a bit bogged down with coursework and revision and stuff but good.

I haven't seen 'Star Stories', but I know what you mean, you see an actor on something and suddenly they're everywhere. Oh well, at least most of them are good at their jobs. Smile

speaking as someone who's actually done several proper personality tests (as in the ones which identify type As, Bs, and Cs or what personality aspects there are). i wouldn't hold any truth to online ones. they're normally made by the psychology students who failed in the end.
on another note i'm neurotic and a type B personality Very Happy

lol thanks for your help anyways lol

Snapshot Report
Impatience/Irritability
29/100

Your interactions with others, while characterized by warmth and tolerance the majority of the time, may occasionally be tinged with impatience and hostility. When you're stressed or frustrated, you may lash out at others or end up stewing in anger or frustration, but this is very rare. Since you generally trust others, you are usually willing to open up emotionally and value relationships for the sake of the people involved, instead of what they can do for you. This is fortunate because a high amount of this aspect of the Type A Behavior Pattern (TABP) can not only be extremely harmful to relationships, it is also very damaging to your health. While originally it was thought that global TABP was the culprit in coronary heart disease, research now shows that hostility, impatience, and other related traits are the real source of the problem. Based on your results here, you are likely not at a very elevated risk of heart disease, but keep in mind that there are other causes unrelated to the TABP, such as poor diet, lack of exercise, and smoking, among other things.

well i say thats very me

I WANNA SEE THE HUNGER GAMES SO BAD!
Sadly I don't see my Mum coming to see it with me. Methinks I'll wait for my sister to show up in April and we can see it then. SO NO SPOILERS. Evil or Very Mad

In other news, my Nora Jones CD from years ago recently resurfaced so I've been listening to that for the past few days. Smile She has such a sweet voice!

Going to see it this weekend with my boy Very Happy Can't wait! Though may have to re-watch it afterwards... I don't remember anything of the last film we went to see... *coughs.* Anyway.

Also, got a tumblr! Anyone interested in following/being followed? (Yes, shameless plugging. I'm a bad person.)

Oh yeah, and who heard that they're releasing the identity of the Doctor's next companion in a Doctor Who press conference tomorrow? Who could it be!? Though by the time you read this, you will probably already know... *cries.*

The press release!

Spoiler:
[b]

Jenna-Louise Coleman has beaten hundreds of hopefuls to become the new companion to Doctor Who, it was announced today by Steven Moffat.

Twenty-five year old Jenna from Blackpool, England will star alongside the 11th Time Lord, Matt Smith, to mark the biggest year in the show’s history.

Best known for her roles in Emmerdale (Jasmine Thomas) and Waterloo Road (Lindsay James), Jenna will replace Karen Gillan when she and Arthur Darvill bow out of the show in a heartbreaking departure after one final series of rollercoaster voyages later this year on BBC AMERICA.

Jenna says: “I’m beyond excited, I can’t wait to get cracking; working alongside Matt I know is going to be enormous fun and a huge adventure.”

The Doctor will meet his new friend in a dramatic turn of events as the show builds towards its enormous, climactic 50th anniversary year — full of thrills, adventures and big surprises. Season seven is currently filming and comprises 14 big, blockbuster-movie episodes — each a brand new epic adventure featuring new monsters and some familiar foes as you’ve never seen them before.

Lead writer and executive producer, Steven Moffat, says: “It always seems impossible when you start casting these parts, but when we saw Matt and Jenna together we knew we had our girl. She’s funny and clever and exactly mad enough to step on board the TARDIS.

“It’s not often the Doctor meets someone who can talk even faster than he does, but it’s about to happen. Jenna is going to lead him his merriest dance yet. And that’s all you’re getting for now. Who she’s playing, how the Doctor meets her, and even where he finds her, are all part of one of the biggest mysteries the Time Lord ever encounters. Even by the Doctor’s standards, this isn’t your usual boy meets girl.”

Then tell me what you think.

Spoiler:

Personally, I believe people should raise awareness, but I'm not so keen on the ulterior motives in the video. I worry that too many people will watch it and then go 'OMG STOP KONY' without bothering to look at other opinions and standpoints on the campaign. Surely there are better ways of catching Kony than without getting the US military involved.
Having said that, I think those people are well-meaning, if a little naive.

John Green's version of 'Hush Little Baby'
Spoiler:
John Green wrote: Hush little baby don’t say a word, Daddy’s gonna buy you a mockingbird.
And if that mockingbird don’t sing, Daddy’s gonna buy you a diamond ring.
And if that diamond ring don’t shine, Daddy’s gonna buy you a case of wine.
And if because you’re an infant and not allowed to drink that wine should go sour, Daddy’s gonna buy you a superpower.
And if that superpower proves corruptin’, Daddy’s gonna buy you a volcano eruptin’.
And if that volcano produces too much ash, Daddy’s gonna buy you a diaper rash.
And if that diaper rash actually isn’t desirable and besides that, can’t be bought, Daddy’s gonna buy you some polka dots.
And if those polka dots aren’t your style, Daddy’s gonna buy you a pacific isle.
And if that pacific isle is in fact WAY too expensive for Daddy to purchase and he defaults on his loan and gets foreclosed upon, Daddy’s gonna buy you the Sultanate of Oman.
And if, given that Daddy could not afford to buy a tiny island, his promise to buy you a sovereign nation is plainly SILLY, Daddy’s gonna buy you some water lilies.
And if those water lilies ever should wilt, Daddy’s gonna buy you a hand knit quilt.
And if after all that you still weep, Daddy’s gonna have to grapple with the fact that while buying goods and services may benefit the economy, it’s not necessarily the best way to get babies to SLEEP.

Brillant!

we hope so but it's not looking all too likely. although last time they did keep it pretty much under wraps until the air date

Yeah, I'm hoping that it will be announce on the week/night of the episode with Adam. But Craig Roberts did say he would love to do it if he was asked, so that's good...although it does imply that he hadn't yet been asked.
